My favorite frugal blog, Money Saving Mom, published a tip I sent in about finding cheap fabric. Sadly, the above picture is of skirts I made using plain old Joann’s fabric, and not of the things I have fashioned out of bedsheets, but it’s the only photographic example I have of my handiwork (and Carley’s: she made the adorable appliqued shirts with an F for Frankie, an M for Molly and an S for Susannah). And when I say “handiwork,” I mean winging it without a pattern.

Congrats on your post on Money Saving Mom!! Great idea. I just bought two shower curtains at Target for the material!! Plus, I figure the kid drool will just repell off. Haha! Your daughters are adorable and I enjoyed reading many of your posts. You and I have many of the same view points!!
Take care!
You are famous! (and your girls look adorable!)
I love sewing with sheets and such because there are just yards of already finished hems. I HATE hemming things!
