Blessed

It's a Wednesday night and the sun is setting and my bite-sized, rosy-cheeked, fuzzy-headed baby is asleep, shaped just like a kidney bean on her side in the crib. My big girl is wild haired and wild and too much fun to put to bed but once she goes it's just me and my delicious smelling, freshly haircut-ed handsome husband and some cheesy snacks and fast-paced crime novels and a king-sized mattress, firm on his side and plush on mine. It's a wonderful life.
