I think this picture pretty much sums up why I love this kid. She's got a sense of humor. Ever since she was quite little I have been able to catch her eye when something is funny or absurd and she GETS it. Plus the fact that she relishes scatological humor makes her a perfect fit for this family. Her mother is sarcastic, her father is juvenile, her maternal grandmother even more juvenile. She says things like "Now that, my friend, was funny."
This is working out well.
